Frequently Asked Questions

Are Kids Allowed to Come?

While we adore all of the littles in our lives, the venue we have chosen can only accommodate 100 people including ourselves. Due to that restriction as well as the amazing outpouring of love, we have opted for a child free wedding excluding those four that are in the bridal party. We appreciate your understanding!

Will There be Alcohol?

As much as we enjoy a great drink, alcohol is prohibited within the park and trails that we will be staying at. Unfortunately this means that if alcohol is found, there may be fines issued. We appreciate your understanding at this time!

What is the Marcha?

This wedding dance is a tradition in New Mexico weddings. Everyone will dance in a line for the duration of the song. At the end of the song, everyone lines up to create a tunnel by holding hands for the bride and groom to run through.

Are Pets Allowed?

While pets are typically allowed in the Alpine canyon, we would prefer that they do not attend at this time. We certainly love our four legged friends however, we don't want to worry about them getting lost while partying. Thank you!

Is Camping Required?

Not at all! For those that would like to spend the night, we are in a group campground that can support up to 100 people. If you choose to camp, please plan accordingly with any supplies, shelter and food you would need. The site is reserved for tent camping only this weekend. No campers, RVs or trailers will be able to enter the campground for this event. We will need to pack everything up and leave the campground by 12 PM on Sunday, September 8th, 2024.
